A new abridged version of the Dewey Decimal Classification is now available

A new abridged version of the Dewey Decimal Classification is now available.Abridged Edition 15 presents a logical abridgement of the recently released DDC23 and includes many parallel updates to content and structure. These changes reflect the many changes to the body of human knowledge that have occurred since Abridged Edition 14 was published back in 2004.  Joan Mitchell, DDC Editor in Chief, recently conducted an information session covering the many new topics and significant updates to selected fields available in Abridged Edition 15. You can access a recording of the webinar at http://www.oclc.org/info/abridged15.
